Continuing Developments


For the past week I have been taking a break but recently I've been remembering that I wanted to try doing monthly posts about development only to forget. I have been focused on the game though! It's coming!!!

In the months since the public test builds I have been focused on a few things:
Putting the existing text in an external file for easier editing and potentially translation (no promises, my ass is broke so i cant "just hire someone")
Implementing content for the third and final area (this mostly done except for one thing!)
Writing for the optional goal events of the first two areas. (just need to get the last ones in)
Optional bosses for the first two areas (I want to get them figured out mechanically before I write the associated event first)
Stress and Mood meters that you have to manage (They function but they need more balancing to actually make the game a lil harder like i want it to be)
The first real ending: The Normal Ending! (it's my current focus. I have the basic structure of the scene associated and am still working on getting the fight itself done.)

After I get the normal ending at a point I'm happy with I'll likely be moving onto getting the pieces together for the Good Ending and its requirements which are those final goal events for the first two areas.

I do plan on distributing a few more testing keys when I get the normal ending done since that feels like a good time to get some fresh eyes on it,

by the way i did get setup for steamworks i forget if i mentioned that already but yeah a steam page... eventually.
